OK, I agree on the "needs to be beautiful" part. But I would give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Imagine if you were a guy who really was a movie director and felt the need for platonic relationship, because he loved the Russian culture... what would you do?

I really hope there are some good guys out there, but dissing these kind of postings isn't going to help... Maybe I am naive, maybe I am too idealistic...

Anyway, judging the answers on this topic, I don't think it was as much to protect the innocent Russian women as to make fun of the Indian director.

This has nothing to do with him being Indian and he probably is in show biz. But this forum is about learning, not picking up chicks. The only reason you are bringing up his race is because you are losing this debate and you probably are naive when it comes to motives.
Get real here, assuming he finds a couple of beautiful Russian girls to hang out with him at his pad. What are they going to do there? Hang out by his pool and wait for expensive gifts? What kind of girls are going to do that? Definately not spiritual girls. In any case if this guy is so spiritual he won't need anyone's company. He would be self sufficient.

If he needs to get beautiful women to adorn his domain let him go to date.com or lavalife or some other swingers club.

And another thing. The fact that he is from India went in his favour. If he had have said that he was producer or director from Hollywood I would have really come down on him and I think even you would have seen through all that Karma Sutra stuff too!

He is always welcome here if he wants make posts about Russia and learn the Russian language.
