My Russian - your English
Hello, I'm Evgenia. Russian is my native language and I think that I could help someone to study it. I know English, but I make awful mistakes, so I need help. I want to find a friend to chat with using ICQ or email.
I'm writing for the first time and even don't know what I must say after this...
Waiting for your reply! :)
Re: My Russian - your English
Oh, we could help each other! I think, it's better to speak more not to be shy later trying to express your opinion in English... Are you interested in talking with a girl from Russia in English? If it's ok for you, I'll write you to your ICQ number. Thanks!

Speak on english!!! You had me in stitches man.     First I thought you were talking about your ENglish GF (like I speak while on my ENglish GF), then it dawned on me what you were on about.
Your English isn't any good, not "very well", lol.
Re: My Russian - your English
Eugene, thank you! I don't know how could you correct my mistakes in the quotation  (I fill that something's wrong with the word order in this sentence...)

No it is not fair enough. Not even slightly fair.
I am able to comprehend her, it is good enough to build on, and strive for fluency. Welcome and encouragement ought to be offered.
Re: My Russian - your English
Agreed. Also, though I'm fairly sure you now recognise the errors, nikitaRUS:

Based on the nickname, I think nikitaRUS is a guy. Nikita is a male name in Russian. :instruct:

How can people learn a language over the forum other way than being corrected? Deign to offer something, please... *)
And most of those weren't typos. Stop cheating. :spiteful:

Deign? wtf is that even supposed to mean? I don't correct your Russian. Don't correct my English.
See how this could go on forever?? I'm a native English speaker. You don't need to correct me when one of my fingers overlooks one letter on a damn keyboard. I guess everyone got the message.
Correct/Corrects, who the hell cares? Главное что дргу дргуа понимаем... But one everyone tries to one-up everyone else with their 'grammar knowledge' or whatever you want to call it, it kills the conversation pretty quick.
Thats why no one liked Olga, (Mean comment. Deleted. L.)

This is your opinion and I just happened to know that it's wrong.
Your rude comments are not called for, really. You know we are here to study languages.

For just talking to people I'd prefer to call my friends, grab a couple of boxes of beer and throw a crazy binge instead of wearing the keyboard out.

Yep. And everyone got that a native English speaker says "Everyone correct ..." as well. They will repeat your typo as a mistake in future.
P.S. Deign is like "do something as a great favour"

I'd say it has a slightly negative connotation since it connotes that you are doing someone a big favour even though you might consider it to be beneath you. A synonym would be "to condescend to do something". It suggests you might well be reluctant to do that favour.
