    hello, I"m Amelia.

My name is Amelia, I'm 22 years old, I currently reside in TX.
My family is Russian, from Kiev. Though nobody seems to take pride in their ethnicity, I, however would like to expand my interest for Russian, the culture and especially the language.

Through learning on my own, I can say your basic "hi, how are you, my name is.."
I want to travel to Russia someday....soon. VERY SOON.

A penpal from Russia would be great

I'm not really sure, my grandparents moved here a long time ago. I'm not really close to my family so I don't really know whats going on :P

Hello! My name is Emin (not common among Russian though I'm as opposed to you learning English but I think we could help each other. In which way do you want to expand your interests? I guess you've not been learning Russian very long
I can say your basic "hi, how are you, my name is.."

    Привет!
Then it couldn't be so soon. But I might be wrong...may be you've got natural talent for learning foreign languages. If so, it would be faster. Don't you think that it is better to visit Russia first?

Then you should work hard (learning the language) because sometimes I can't understand them myself
If you wanted to learn the language thoroughly you might enroll in a university or college to a faculty of foriegn languages (hope Texas has got one).
Or no more education in your life!?

    Привет Амелия!

First of all I wish you to be successful in Russian learning and visit Russia someday! I think this is very important to hold traditions and don't forget your roots.

I would like to help you, really
I am very interesting in USA culture and English language. Now I am working to USA company, and I really like it) More over this summer I was going to spend in California by some popular student program, but unfortunately it had not happen.

So if you like we can communicate by mail or by icq or skype. If you are interested in - just let me now.

Anyway, good luck or how we say удачи!
