    I wonder, how can I translate nuances of the meaning of these adjectives into English?
    Please, correct my mistakes, except for the cases I misspell something on purpose!

    Usually just Russian for both.

    You may say 'ethnic Russian' for русский if talking about people, but that's if you need to specify their ethnicity.
