    it's been a while (?)

It's a scene from a movie I'm watching in English. A man lies in bed with a woman, after sex, and says a sentence that sounds to me like "it's been a while", or "it [ha]s been a while" or something like that. What does he say and what does it mean?
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

He probably means that he hasn't had sex for a long time.

"It's been a while" means "it is a long time since X happened". It's a common expression.

I would even say: "It is a long time since XXX happened"
