Heh. No kidding. I always remember that about Peter and the story about him being interested in dentistry as well -- he fancied himself as a dentist, and one day a poor bugger in his service had a toothache. Unfortunately, nobody needed to pass a dentistry certification exam in 17th century Russia, least of all the Tsar, so he became a guinea pig. Ouch.
