It sucks. It pwns. It rawks. It smokes.

It sucks. It pwns. It rawks. It smokes.

    It rawks = It rocks.

You're right "rawks" is basically the ПРЕВЕД! version of "rocks." It's just slang, pure and simple. I doubt that you can find any real logic behind it (maybe "rock n' roll?"). It "smokes" is the same deal; maybe from "smoking hot?" In any case, it's really not the least bit important -- just so long as you understand that it's positive slang, which I think you get.

It rocks: Is an expression from rock music world meaning of course something good and positive.

It smokes: Is from auto racing world. It went so fast that it was smoking the tires. Now it just means something positive in almost anything like "rocks".

I agree. Now try explaining this one:

    It's the sh*t.

A foreigner asked me to explain this one and I didn't have a clue, LOL.

Nah, the second one is just part(s) of an animal. You need a definite article to use it the way you're suggesting.

    "The dog's bollocks."

    Good question.

In English, that sentence would be acceptable with either a definite or indefinite article.

Saying "the definite article" would have worked because there is only one definite article in Modern English, therefore there is no ambiguity.

Paradoxically, "a definite article" also works, because "the" is not the only definite article (!). It may be the only definite article in English, but there are many (an uncountable number) instances of that article, and there are many other languages with one or more definite articles.

I chose "a" because "definite article" was new/ introduced information. It was the first mention of that particular definite article. Had I subsequently refered back to that same definite article, I would have used "the". At least, I think that's why I must have chosen it, though I can't be sure since I didn't think about it when I first posted it.

Кстати о принцах, что означает "we're going to rock this town"?

OK, first "It's the sh1t"... Drug slang, A Cheech and Chong comedy routine
"Hey man, you got the sh1t?"
"Yeah man, I got the sh1t"
    "Is it good sh1t?"
    "Yeah man, it's good sh1t"
"That's good man, cuz I don't want no bad sh1t man"
I have a feeling Cheech & Chong aren't widely known in Russia

"Rock this town", a common rock song phrase, means "We're going to have a wild time"
I'm going to rock your world!" If a smokin' babe says this to you (assuming your a male) , put on the party lights and expect wild sex...
If a guy says it to you (again, assuming you are male) you're going to get beat up or worse...
I'm easily amused late at night...

I saw a movie some years ago named something like "Don't be a menace to South Central while drinking your juice in the hood", the guys in that movie talked exactly like this.

Ohh! They are now, at least last 2-3 years in particular parties.
I remember I nearly died from laughter when I was pretty "stoned" and my friends invited me to watch the 2nd part of a full film (where they were boxing in the ring).
Chong is more known as a "mexican" guy from american movies (or is it Cheech?)

Cheech (shorter of the two) is Mexican-American, Chong (beard) is Chinese-Canadian
