Можно так сказать - "look after your vocabulary"? По-русски я хочу сказать "проследи за своим лексиконом" (например, если человек неприличными словами выражается :D ).

Думаю, там mind.
Mind your vocabulary!
Хорошо ли звучит vocabulary в этом значении, не знаю. Возможно, есть какое-то другое, устоявшееся выражение. :D
Watch your language! - Тут звучит лёгкая угроза.
Можно Would you please refrain from using such language.
Thank you, Zaya and Lampada.
Any ideas from natives?...
I've heard both Watch your mouth and watch your language.
Some more:
Watch your tongue! http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/assem ... /6phse.pdf
Clean up your language! http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms2/summary ... 481335_ITM http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_g ... i_n6763393
So "vocabulary" doesn't work here?
Оля asks:
It depends on the level of formality that you wish. For example a teacher grading a paper that contains some inappropriate language might write "Mind your vocabulary!" as suggested by Zaya.Quote:

Encarta(R) World English Dictionary [North American Edition] (2007) http://encarta.msn.com/thesaurus_/lexicon.htmlQuote:
lexicon (n) Synonyms: vocabulary, vocabulary list, word list, lexis, idiolect, glossary, concordance
But when a person hears those words and takes offense they are more likely to fire back (say quickly) to the speaker, "Mind/Watch your tongue!", "Clean up your foul mouth!", "Wash your foul mouth out!" or something like that.

Как и многие многосложные слова латинского происхождения, vocabulary является так сказать $64-словом /из высокого стиля/, и вообще выражает более точное определение нежели аморфное, то есть как выше писали "list of words", "lexicon" и пр. а не просто «речь».
my favorite is "do you kiss your grandmother with that mouth!?" (it indicates that you have a dirty mouth!!!) :)
my mom made me eat soap once for having a poopy mouth.
