Would you tell me about the following? What is the English equivalent of Russian phrase: "Но не тут-то было!"
A context:
"Я собирался отдохнуть после работы... Но не тут-то было! Выяснилось, что..."
By the way, how does it spell correct (with hyphen or not): "тут то" or "тут-то"? I think, that the version with hypen is correct? It likes me more than the other. :-)

"It likes me more than the other."? That's funny for me to read. Perhaps you mean: "I like it more than the other." The way to say this in english is different than Russian.Quote:
