Issue about prostituation issue
we learn a book about different taboos (sex, death, telling lies, torture and some others)
so there is one about prostitution
they ask
is prostitution a practical issue or a moral one?
i cant understand what they mean
практический и моральный вопрос о проституции???
it doesnt make sense at all!!!
and sounds really awkward in russian!
i could understand
then is it
a complicated issue or a straightforward one??
are adjectives complicated and straghtforward opposing???
they seem to mean it but i dont really think we can contrast them
maybe i dont understand the actual meaning again??
and finally
is it an important issue or a non-issue?
i suppose from the context that non-issue means 'not important'
am i correct?

Nor can I.

Yes. It's another poorly-written question. Also, I'd say "opposites" rather than "opposing".

Yes, perfectly so.
I wouldn't say that any of what you're quoting is very pleasant English, but it'd make some sense if it was intended for studying by foreigners, since if you didn't recognise "complicated", you might recognise "straightforward" and understand the meaning of the sentence still.
