Describe "high five" and "pound it" greetings to me please. Just want to make sure I got them right.
Well, I don't know what "pound it" means unless you are referring to a sexual reference.
High Five literally means to put your hand in the area and hit it against another persons hand. Five referring to five fingers on the hand and high referring to the position of the hands of the people when they clap them together.
"Give me a high five" or simply "high five" is often used as a congratulations or an excited/happy expression. It can be used as a greeting but not often. Honestly I don't see this used too often any more.
Now people seem to do that lame homie handshake thing instead.
High Five basurero!
To "pound it" is just when two thugs touch fists.
Gimme five, on the black man's side.Quote:

Don't get it wrong, I mean no offence. Just remembered this wise proverb by chance and decided to post it. Maybe it will prove useful for somebody.
Vadim84, right I'd like to know precisely :P
Straight on punch the other guy's fist. A real punch in American football, a light touch in Baseball, but some get rather involved. I won't even get into the ass slapping thing :o
Good.Quote:
