FREE electronic libraries of modern books?

There are plenty of free electronic libraries in runet, but are there any foreign electronic libraries where one can download FREE e-books in english?

I know couple of places, but there are mostly classic books while I'm interested in few modern authors whose books haven't been published in Russia yet and probably won't be in the foreseeable future.
Any ideas?

Maybe you were just in a hurry but what if you don't know...

There is a difference between "few" and "a few".

"few" is a negative idea, it means "not many, not enough".

"a few" is more positive and means "some, a small number, enough for some purpose".

So:

I'm interested in few modern authors = Меня практически не интересуют современные писатели (может быть, только 1-2)

I'm interested in a few modern authors = Меня интересуют некоторые современные писатели

If you are talking about modern writers, that sort of "libraries" are not common at all since they would most likely be in breach of copyright laws. As for illegal sites, they are probably more focused on movies which attract much larger audiences.

Guys you can get all that you want in English or Russian ... Just download eMule client or stuff like that onto your computer :)

Yeah, eMule is cool, one can find almost everything there. But I'm usually number two thousands and something in the queue and have to wait for days untill I can download a file. :)
