Explain to me some idioms, please

My teacher gave me a number of idioms with gaps to restore and understand it. I figured out some of them but others are unclear to me. Here are idioms with my suppositions:

    1. to be gentle as a <sheep?>

    2. to talk until the <cows?> come home

    3. to be unable to say boo to a <?>

    4. to have a <deer?> party

P.S. Above each idiom I have a little picture with an animal.
My English isn't so good, зато с русским все в порядке ))
I'll be very thankful, if you correct my mistakes.

    #1:"...as a lamb"
    correct on #2
    #3: usually "...to a goose"
#4: not quite sure about this one, most likely "A buck party"

Ok, I don't know them all, but here's a couple:

    1. To be as gentle as a lamb = self-explanatory
    2. To talk until the cows come home = correct. If you hadn't guessed, cows come home in the evening, so it means to talk for a long time.
    3. ? Never heard of it. What animal is pictured?
    4. To have stag party. A stag is an adult male deer. According to MSN Encarta dictionary, a "stag party" is "a social occasion that only men attend, especially an evening of drinking with male friends spent by a man about to be married." I think it's usually used in the latter sense - that of a bachelor party.

You can have a hen party (women), or a stag party (men). I think these are more British expressions. British stag parties usually involve getting drunk, often in Prague. Don't go to Prague at the weekend. Unless you enjoy rowdy drunk rude loud English cunt men parading around in their England football shirts like they own the place.

It's synonymous to #1. And goose is a bird.

    3. to be unable to say boo to a <?>

Perhaps it should be.... " He wouldn't say "boo" to a mouse"

Meaning; He is quiet and unassuming, of no threat to anyone.

A mouse? For me, it's always been a goose. Language is so variable...
