Can anybody explain to me in simple words what does the blue part mean? I just don't understand it at all.

I am a native speaker and even I do not completely understand that...........but I think that means something bad for the buyer!

Мне непонятно, куда лепится фраза "более чем через 15 месяцев". То есть этот процесс создан для случаев, когда гарантийный срок составляет более 15 месяцев или что? Думаю, "или что", но какое именно?))

Счет - фактура.
1. Документ, представляющий собой счет, выставляемый покупателю (заказчику) для оплаты.
2. Счет - фактура является документом, служащим основанием для принятия предъявленных сумм НДС к вычету или возмещению (нл.).

ЗЫ: Тьфу ты, совсем забыла, что в документах названия сторон пишут с большой буквы. Лучше бы и не бралась вовсе, так самой интересно стало.))

For example a Manufacturer makes an item and offers a 5-year warranty to fix it if defective. Seller purchases a shipment of the item from Manufacturer.

The Seller offers to Buyers a limited warranty to fix the item if it breaks, valid for the 15 months following the sale. However, if the thing breaks more than 15 months after delivery, even though the Manufacturer's warranty may still be in effect, the seller will require the buyer to pay if the item is returned to the seller for repair. After 15 months the Seller will not pay to fix it and will require payment from the Buyer. I.e., Seller wants the Buyer to send broken items back to the Manufacturer for repair or replacement.

Here's my translation:

... Несмотря на это, ... (и/или её дочерние подразделения) будут вправе выставить Покупателю счёт за гарантийное обслуживание Продукции, возвращенной ему до истечения Гарантийного Периода, но после истечения 15 (Пятнадцати) месяцев с момента поставки данной продукции Покупателю.
