I wonder if this forum’s natives could be.

Knowing that you guys don’t get it either is a great relief for me.
Jazz, you’ll be surprised to know that your words:
“Maybe if you got drunk or stoned you could figure this one out?” almost word for word correspond to the well known Russian colloquial expression “Без бутылки не разберёшься!” :-)
So East and West aren’t that far from each other after all.

Your version definitely seems to fit with the lyrics better than mine, listening back to the song. (And you're right about "sow", I failed to notice that lol)
