I think it would depend on the context, but in general Id take this to mean a material which deviates from what is standard or normal, be it natural or otherwise.Quote:

We have the analogues of "anomaly" ("аномалия") and "anomalous" ("аномальный") in Russian.
I guess Rtyom is being inquisitive here and wants to know exactly in what way that material is anomalous :lol:
