Pravit spricht Deutsch
Out of curiosity(and boredom), I recorded me reading from "Allah ist mit den Standhaften: Begegnungen mit der islamischen Revolution." Although we don't have that many fluent German speakers, maybe someone will be able to give some pointers or make some comments.

I definetly wouldn't call myself a fluent German speaker, (two years of high school German, nope) but that shure sounded much better than my German. :wink: Maybe if I get around to it i'll post some recordings of me in German or later Russian. (if I get confident enough, heh :oops: )

Apart from slurring quite a bit, it sounds really good. But I'm no German, of course. I should post a sample of my German as well. Anything you can do... :wink:

Ah! That's very good! Yes, I must admit that I have a problem with speaking too quickly and occasionally tripping over words. If anyone's interested, I recorded it speaking more slowly and clearly:

Besides that, I tried reading something else(the letter I got about my trip) in a more "official" voice.

I find it strange, however, that I sound more high-pitched when I speak German normally.
@Jasper: I'm sure you can do a better German accent than I can, but I'm interested in hearing anyway.
