Thread: a little help

Hello!
im an american that currently lives in germany, i understand german fluently and speak it very good when around germans (although i have alot of trouble writing it). I have met a girl who only speaks german and i want to ask her to be my valentine for valentines day, i want it to be perfect grammar, could anybody help?

I looked for some but I couldn't find any I'm not sure if Germans ask each other to be their Valentine. Anyway, I DID find a bunch of other Valentine's Day phrases http://www.serve.com/shea/germusa/valsay.htm Maybe you can pick something from that list if you don't find what you're looking for.

Hey thanks alot, thats getting pretty close to exactly what i was looking for. She also speaks russian and has only been in germany for 3 years, luckily i have my handy dandy 1000 page "russian phrasebook of love" that should help
