what about моей мамы and твоей матери? Not 100% sure. And what's with the может быть? Perhaps I got it all wrong though.
In the second sentense "твою мать" means not only "your mother" It is expression similar to American "motherf...r" or like this. Just playing of the words.
But why does it use the accussative, I though ждать took the genitive?
that is a good qustion... maybe подoждём has a preposition inserted into it, kinda like it can mean lets wait, or let's wait for. so u dont have to use the genentive or dative... isn't "for" dative ?
бирит классно => варит кофе (is brewing coffee)Quote:

Still, why not the genitive?
So, when I was listening to this song I heard "моя мама варит классно" Moreover all my friends heard so too. When I came to the university one of them told us, like "you all are fools, she sings "моя мама варит кофе"" Much probably because he read lyrics somewhere. But I'm 100% sure that this stupid girl sings "моя мама варит классно" I think it's kind of trick when lyrics doesn't fit to the song.
Still, the genitive is not there.
I am not sure about the names of the cases, I just can say it in Russian: подождем твою (мою) маму
it says on master russian, wait, i have seen somwhere the to/for is dative/ and i have also seen for as genitive... which is it?
I found this in my dictionary :Quote:

So :
я жду твоего письма (genitive)
я жду твою маму (accusative because мамa)
я жду твоей матери (this one I'm not sure :?: )
Last sentence will be Я жду (подожду) твою мать. But Я дождусь твоей матери.
I think it's similar to "your mother f... off"... :DQuote:
