I wont attempt to spell it in russian cuz i dont know how. Anyways, i had never heard this word untill about a week ago. I now hear it all the time. Judging by it's use, im going to make an uneducated - educated guess, and assume it means something like "Little boy" or just "boy".

Am i wrong ?

Your spelling is an almost perfect transliteration (it's малыш) and
your guess is the most direct translation. Viva is right, it can mean a girl too, but there's also a special word for a girl - малышка. One of the possible translations into English is "baby" - not only meaning a child but the informal address as well.

Hmm. Cool, i guess i get it now =P. The song i heard it in which provoked this queastion, she says like

"пишешь мне письмо в который раз. читаю между ?????? случайный фраз. ну что же ты малчишь я жду ответ. проси меня малыш, ответа нет."

Anyways, i forget what i'm trying to explain, but since it's a girl singing, and it's not taty, i guess she's talking to a guy. Cool, thanks all.

Most likely it's "читаю между строк случайных фраз (genitive)".
And I also think it's прости and not проси.
That was just my guess, I don't know the song.
And it's молчишь.

jeez, i just knew it was между + genitive. There was something fishy about that. And yea, that's what she says. I just didn't know the word Строка. but i can't tell if it's прости or проси. It sounds like there is a pause between the S and I. But it doesn't sounds like a T. Anyways, who cares ? =P question answered.

I think it's right, but wouldn't "random" be better than "accidental" here?

My dictionary says "Casual", and I think it would sound best as "I read between the lines of casual phrases". I.E. Guys are smooth talkers, what is he really saying ? what did he really mean by that ? I think we get the idea.

Ahhh, yes, that does make a lot more sense.
