*Question* would the stress be on the first "E" вEчер ? as to not confuse with Вчера ?

yup, im not sure if there is a stress shift but i hope not. it probably wouldent get confused with 'yesterday' since the stress is allways on the 'А'

yea. good point. although, i must say, i am not completly sure about the prepositional... i have spent the past 10 minutes frantically searching for V's wallpaper, or some grammar site *note masterrussian has no tutorail about the prep case* so, whatever its 2:35 am, i have school tomorrow, and i just don't care.

Ask someone to give it to you, as I will return on Sunday (afternoon).

The prepositional case will be O VECHERE (O CHIOM?). And the stress in this word (a noun) always falls on the first syllable

В слове "вечер" ударение на первую "е". В слове "вчера" на "а".
BTW, if ur friend knows that u have a dog u can say just "собаку потерял", he got it.
