    Ulitsa Sezam,

    Is it popular in Russia ?
    I asked my teacher friend in Ижевск; she said no. I am watching (4th time) a show on PBS about bringing Sesame Street to other countries. PBS (WGBH, Boston ) was one of my TV channels in the 1970's. I use the "Count" 1-20 to learn Russian...

    I don't know for sure but I don't think it's showing anywhere in Russia now. I remember it, though. It was not very popular, although I think foreigners may use it to learn basics of Russian.

    ...and I used the Cookie Monster to eat copious amounts of cookies and become a diabetic! No, but seriously, that show was teh hawtness.
