    Russian speaking country and Science

I found that most of the Russian speaking country citizens are very good at science, especially mathematics and physics, compared to other countries. Is there any kind of culture in these Russian speaking countries that make this happen ? It's very interesting to me, since I'm so attracted to science and engineering. My main reason to learn Russian is even triggered by this fact.

Absolutely. We're all mathematical geniuses. Well, most of us are. (I'm not, but I'm not entirely Russian). By the age of 3 Russian kids will have learned the long division and by the age of 9 they will have learned the integral calculus. Under communism such great mathematical prowess was instilled in the masses by means of collective shock therapy sessions, very much to the anger of Western human rights activists, nowadays most people are turning to chi-gun exercises as a source of mathematical inspiration.

We have to take you seriously VM. Look what a fount of knowledge and wisdom you are. At least two people on this forum had no idea what chi-gung meant and now we do and aren't we better people for it! We are breathless with anticipation for your next teaching session.
