Erelash !

Does anybody know what kind of great show this is ? Erelash ! Erelash ! Say it kids ! Erelash !

I was at my russian pal's hosue watching Erelash ! and man, i have to get russian TV. Is this show Erelash ! popular in russia ? Maybe u don't know of it, i will remind you. Erelash ! is a bunch of skits, mostly with kids. They will have in introduction, like "Кто круче ?" is one i remember, and then ike a 20 second cartoon. Then the skit. In this one, these prison guys were sitting around trying to decide "Кто круче ?" and then this little kid comes in and b**ches them around... RFLMOAAD this show rules ! Russian comedy is GREAT.

Another one i remember is this girl had a birthday party, and this guy поломал его шнурок so he could stay behind with her. And she was like
"Ты готов на всё делать для меня* (or something like that, i forget exactly how to say it" and he's like "да да да да" so she has him close his eyes, and just when u think it's gunna be some nasty kiddy porn she says OPEN UR EYES, and he's in the kitchen infront of a huge pile of dirty dishes. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA OMFGFSGFDG ! THis is really great stuff. Maybe this шоу has a website i can marvel at ? i really need russian tv now more than ever. Erelash ! Erelash ! Erelash ! Erelash !

It is really very popular show. In Soviet times everybody tried to watch it regularly. I like this show too but now it seems less funny (as well as the rest of Russian humour). I don't think it has a website but as far as I know they made a series of videotapes.

Only there's almost nothing there. Perhaps they've just started their site.
But it was very popular in 70-s and 80-s. Now it is not so, but it's still alive and kicking.

I think I remember watching something similar at the same place where you could find Lora's dialogs and all that lovely Russian-learning stuff. Something about two Russian kids in pastel short-shorts, a big brother and a little brother. The little brother refuses to eat everything and demands noodles. The big brother finally gives it to him. Then the little brother won't eat it, so he pours the noodles on his head. Bwaa-bwaa-bwaaaah!

What else do I rememember? Oh, there was these two kids begging people for money. Eventually this really nice cop comes up and he's like "Hey kids, what are you begging for? You wanted ice cream?" "Mm-mm." "You wanted to smoke?" "Mm-mm." "You were thirsty?(camera pans to liquor store)" "Mm-mm." Then they point and both start crying. It's a public toilet that you have to pay 50 kopecks to use.

I also remember watching the first few minutes of some black-and-white Soviet movie online. It was something about some man's visit to Moscow. All I remember is his conversation at the airport with some pretty girl. And then he goes to his friend's apartment and the neighbor's playing radio and he's like "You'll forget how to speak Russian if you keep listening to that French crap!"

Ah, I'll stop rambling.

Only after reading this thread to the end I realised, what "Erelash" is Ералаш ("Yeralash"). :)

AH, well, that's just what it said on the digital cable screen. nothing was written in russian.
