Cool Museums in Moscow!

Moscow is apparently the Museum Capital of the world:smiley: I like museums....

Let's have a thread about some of the good and cool museums that you have visited, or that you would like to visit!

I will start with a museum that I saw on TV:

ICE MUSEUM

I went there! I have some very nice pictures of the ice museum! It's wonderful! Few things can be cooler than an ice dragon sculpture. =P

And also I was in museum not far from Moscow = Кукушка (узкоколейные железные дороги)

Музей "Оружейная палата" в Кремле. Не был, но хотел бы сходить.
А есть ещё Алмазный фонд. Но не уверен, что там свободный доступ.

Is there any of the following in Moscow -

a chess museum
a space museum

Don't know about chess, but there is the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics (Мемориальный музей космонавтики), which is located inside the base of the Monument to the Conquerors of Space (Монумент "Покорителям космоса"). It was reopened in 2009 after reconstruction. And this summer saw the long-awaited reopening of the Moscow planetarium (Московский планетарий).
