    CMC

I want to text my friend who's Russian (i.e. send a message to his mobile phone) using the Net. I found a site:
    http://www.beeonline.ru/portal/comm/sen ... nd_sms.sms
which offers such a possibility. Could sb guide me through the inticasies of the site?
    1) Is it free of charge?
    2) Do I have to register to use it?
    3) Does the receiver have to be registered?

The most important: I know Russian and I want to write the message in Russian using the "original" alphabet (Cyrillic). Should I write in Cyrillic and then leave this off:
    Отключить автоматическую транслитерацию сообщения?

If the person I'm sending CMC to is currently not in Russia, will he get it or not?

Does a message sent from this site include any advertisements?

Maybe sb can recommend some other reliable sites?

U can use ICQ to send SMS, free of charge, i think. But i couldn't figure out how to set it up correctly. I have a friend in russia and she wanted me to send her SMS, but i think i screwed it up. Oh well.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

It is free, you don't have to be registered, although a subscriber may switch off the messages form the unregistered people. Also I think it is only for "Beeline" company subscribers.

The best way to send sms is to use site of the company where the reciever of the message is subscribed. Gimme the first 4 digits of the phonenumber and I'll give you the URL.

I also found a site from which you can send free sms messages worldwide:
    http://www.email2sms.ru/sms.php

Here is just for USA (and probably canada, but who cares):

Call to a hardware store: "I'm sure you know more about the caulk than I do...tell me...is there a taste to the caulk?".
