Essentials of Russian Grammar

This is an excellent reference book. It's very easy to find things in this book if you're having trouble with something and want to look it up. The book is very well organized and well written. Not a beginner's text, rather a reference source.
Re: Essentials of Russian Grammar
Dear sir, could you please provide us with a little summary or some insight of the content ? I can't even find the table of matters for this book. :(

Re: Essentials of Russian Grammar
Alas it is not the same book. Of Terrence Wade's comprehensive russian grammar I could get an overview on google books where you can read a good deal of it. No parts of Maltzoff's essentials of russian grammar are likewise available.
The latter book is way less expensive than the first one...

It's an excellent survey of every area of Russian grammar, very well written and explained. :good: The table of contents would make for dull reading: pronouns, nouns, verbs.........
Re: Essentials of Russian Grammar
Anyone know if any of these books are available in pdf format online? There are many free books for download, but it seems like russian ones are hard to find....and the first book is super expensive!
Re: Essentials of Russian Grammar
violetka, maybe you have a birthday coming up soon? Anyway, I love my copy of Mr. Wade's grammar and wish I'd found it years ago. It's only about the price of 4 CDs, I think, so not that bad.
Re: Essentials of Russian Grammar
Terrace Wade book is great, haven't seen the book recommended by sperk. You can buy a lot of these books used on amazon for much less..
