    Mishka/Maritsa

    Hi, I don't really remember my father's name (in a formal sense), but I remember him being called Mishka. Is Mishka a diminutive form of a name and if so what name? Also, could anyone tell me what the name Maritsa means? He used to call me that but it is not my name. My name is Gabrielle Gloria. Thanks, Gabby

    Mishka (мишка) is short for Mikhail (Михайл (michael)).
    Maritsa (марица)... i dunno... is it a river?

    Марица sounds like something from Eastern Europe... And there is a river with that name... In Bulgaria...
