My cousins middle name is Innokentiy, that side of the family isnt russain at all. My aunt liked the name I guess. The whole family calls him Kesha, and I was talking to a friend of mine and I mentioned him. She burst out laughing and said that is the most common name for a parrot in Russia.
So does my cousin have a pets name? Kinda like someone naming their kid Rover? If so, that'd really make my day

I remember there is a cartoon "Возвращение блудного попугая", so there a parrot name is Kesha. This is diminutive form of Innokentiy, but it is not a "special" pet name for a parrot.

For the benefit of those who don't yet read all that well in Russian, it means "The Prodigal Parrot Returns", a well-known Russian cartoon about a parrot named Kesha. Had me in stitches.
