Some names don't have a simple short form like "Dmitry-Dima" has.
These names include Никита, Игорь, Тарас, Анжела, Казимир,etc.
Addressing People in Russian - Russian Culture
However, they might have an affectionate diminutive formed with suffixes: Игорь - Игорёк, Казимир - Казимирчик, Никита - Никитка, Тарас - Тарасик.
I saw in books Казимир->Казя, Казик. But It was about 70x. Never met a person with the name "Казимир", don't know how do they react on that. :)
Kazimir (Kazimierz) is mainly a Polish name. AFAIK poles use Kazik as a diminutive.
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypocorism:
Kazimierz → Kazek, Kazio, Kazik
Thank you all!
