I'm coming in a week or so on Lomonosov. Considering that Moscow is a very expensive town, please tell me where can I eat for little money (locations & prices if you now). Also I need information about going to St. Petersburg by train (prices of tickets, distance from Moscow). I'd appriciate it very much. Thank U :wink:

Try fastfood chains like Macdonald's or Rostik's (Ростикс), they are about the same level. They are very easy to find, both chains are popular in the city.
As for pices.
Coca-cola is about 20-30 rubles there, french fries - about 30-40, chicken from 50to around 80 depending on the portion you take.
You can go drink coffee in "coffe house" or "shokoladnitsa" which are big chains too. one cup of coffe+a muffin+tips will cost you about 200 rubles or a little more.
There's a lot of other cafes with the same level of price, but less popular, maybe someone will tell you more about them.
It'll be much better for you to buy food in ordinary shops and eat it wherever you consider convenient. It will be thrice or even more cheaper than if you eat in public catering.
What, they don't have теремок in Moscow? I would eat there!
Теремок (and its clones) are great, and pretty cheap. They do get kind of repetitive though. But the тропикана is the best thing EVER.

The trains from Moscow to St Petersburg leave at late afternoon and evening times and you can get a bunk "plastcart" (forgive my spelling) for around 600p. You also must pay for your sheets 60p. A coupe is at least 1200p but a lot cleaner. This time of year the trains are booked up well in advance so it's best not to wait till the last minute to buy a ticket.
