Thread: Taxis in Moskovskiy vokzal and Leningradskiy vokzal

My phone will not work in Russia as I don't have international data. Are there usually Yandex taxi cabs waiting around at the stations? I'm specifically referring to Moskovskiy vokzal in St Petersburg and Leningradskiy vokzal in Moscow. It seems that Sapsan trains offer a taxi cab service on board, but its usually pricier than Yandex.

Anyway it's worth waiting several minutes for car ordered via app. Never use waiting around cars directly. They have inadequate price (especially knowing you are foreigner).

I was in Petersburg last year with my friends. We have booked city sightseeing walking tour using https://petersburg.expert/tour/sightseeing-with-guide/ but we had to get to the hotel ourselves. There were a lot of taxies Moskovskiy vokzal in St Petersburg and Yandex taxi were there too. As for price, of course Yandex is cheapier but you negotiate for discount with private taxi drivers.
