I didn't for a moment think you weren't sure (however after a bottle of vodka it might be a different story).

It would make more sense if you wrote: "I know the place where I live well", or: "I am an expert on the place where I live".

"I do know where I live" would be a response in an argument, where the other person says "you haven't got a clue where you live".

Can you tell me a bit about Novosibirsk? Is it worth to visit that city? What is the best month for visiting? Thanks

I don't know much of Novosibirsk - i've been there only once. But I can tell you that it is not as good as Irkutsk because it has not that history and nature Irkutsk has. As for monthes - May - September are good - the rest are muddy or cold.

Is your station still green? I was impressed by it, it looked like a palace, I thought, but I only caught a glimpse in the fifteen minutes that the train stopped there.

Do you mean the main station? Yes, it has always been green and will be the same I hope. Thanks Last time when I've been there, in december 2005, an additional building for the local elektrichkas was almost finished. It is green too.

I myself liked the vauxhall in Krasnoyarsk. They covered an ordinary bridge over the railways with metal and glass, so those look very pretty. Moreover, it is very convenient: it exits right to the square. The vauxhall itself, built in 2004, is a work of art.

I think that green doesn't fit. They say the station will be reconstructed.
