Laws about bringing pets into Russia?
Hi,
I wasn't able to find some solid info on what the regulations are for bringing pets into Russia from other countries. For the sake of discussion, let's just say a small dog. Does anyone know how long the quarantine period is, what certificates are required, how expensive it is, etc? (Is it even safe for a small dog in some parts of Russia?)
Sorry if this has already come up in the forum. If it has, I couldn't find it.

You just have to have a clean bill of health certificate from the vet that is less than 30 days old. Also i think the quarantine isnt too long, less than a month. 2 weeks probly.
Why wouldn't it be safe for a small dog? Russians don't eat dogs. Nor do other dogs eat dogs in russia for the most part. Just dont let it get eaten by a world if your in the woods and you'll be fine.
