No need for the polite greeting. I think there is a problem at the moment, getting Russian speaking channels in Ukraine, due to the political situation. Allegedly the Russian speaking channels were blocked by the new government in Ukraine. Not sure about the details.
I'm surprised you can't get the Russian channels from Russia in Italy. Russian satellites for domestic use have a huge overspill into surrounding areas. You can (well at least could) pick up Russian domestic TV far outside Russia - for example in Scandinavia it's loud and clear if you aim the dish in that direction. But you may have to switch to a different satellite, which might not carry the other channels you want, like film and news in English,
Moldova also has a couple of local Russian speaking channels and can get Russian channels, so check what they are called and see if they broadcast on satellite. You might have better luck with that, and it's not censored.
Almost impossible to know your individual situation; try a satellite forum.
Or if it doesn't work in your particular area, just hook up your computer to your TV, that way you can stream any channel you want from the internet to your TV.
