Question on how to teach.

I got a person who wishes to learn basics, I am a native speaker but I have no teaching experience. I was wondering how would I start, I was thinking of introducing Alphabet 1st with a few words plus some easy phrases. I am in complete darkness as to what needs to be done. :)

It would be cool if someone with experience point an effective way to go.

Start with the predicatives, they are the basic structure of all russian sentences! That was a joke.

I would start with basic words and conversations. Forget verb conjugations until much later.

If I were to teach Russian to somebody, I would do the same.

How about teaching us at The Russian Classroom? We need a teacher there. We are using the New Penguin Russian Course and the materials from Princeton University as our base study material.
