Please help me choose my learning materials

I am just beginning at Russian and I'm starting with RussianPod 101. After I finish the podcasts I will do the Princeton course and the Penguin grammar book.

I live in Thailand and will be going back to the U.S. next month. I want to buy everything I will need to learn Russian to an advanced level while I'm there since it is so expensive to ship to Thailand. After completing the above courses, what other books would you recommend? Some that I'm considering are:

Russian in Use: An Interactive Approach to Advanced Communicative Competence

5000 Russian Words: With All Their Inflected Forms and Other Grammatical Information : A Russian-English Dictionary

Using Russian: A Guide to Contemporary Usage

A Phrase and Sentence Dictionary of Spoken Russian: Russian-English, English-Russian

    Russian Stories: A Dual-Language Book

The Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs: 555 Fully Conjugated Verbs

I've also purchased one dvd with subtitles (irony of fate, or enjoy your bath) to work on my listening comprehension.

    Thank you for the help!

Here are a number of some websites where you can listen to news and read scripts for them:
ОРТ - a website of Russian central TV channel
НТВ - a website of another one of the popular Russian TV channels
Рен Тв - a website of another one of the popular Russian TV channels
    Thanks for correcting me.

The Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs: 555 Fully Conjugated Verbs --- I love this book!
Also, I would consider if you are getting a dictionary of any sort, get the big red one from Katzner.

I'm also looking in to some grammar books as well, and thinking of trying these out:

A Comprehensive Russian Grammar. 3rd Edition by Terence Wade, or
Modern Russian: An Advanced Grammar Course by Derek Offord.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't have either of the grammar books, but I am looking around to find out more about them. I just have heard that they are excellent reference books and great to have for those who are serious about learning the language.
