I got it! Its good for the audio side of things, like for pronounciation, but its more touristy than i like. It doesn't get grammatical enuff for me. Use the Russian: Complete Course for Beginners book, by Nicholas J. Brown (Penguin).
I'm getting fed up about hearing about Svetlana and Gleb, and Kolya and his senile mother. If i was him, I would say: "YOU ASKED FOR THE BUN, NOW EAT IT BITCH!!!!!"
It's the book i'm using for audio, but I agree - nowhere near enough emphasis on grammar! I recommend Ruslan 1&2 for this as a course. The CD-Roms are best, but quite expensive - you can also get them as books with or without CDs or tapes
