Thread: How did you learn Russian?

I learned perfect longhand from my patient and resourceful professor named Roman. He is the best teacher I had among others and other languages. He always have documentary films to show us every week. I dropped out from his class because of personal problems. Right now as you can see, I am learning the singular nominative, genitive, dative, accusative and instrumental declension of nouns plus their plural. I take nouns from the dictionary and declense them. I had finished a book on the HISTORY OF RUSSIA. It is not funny on what caused the death and how Rasputin died although they make fun of him in the song Rasputin. I love the Russian language and Russian history.
