Hello and a few questions
Hi everyone, i am glad i found a forum for this, maybe it will help me to be more consistent about it. I do have a few questions if anyone could help me
-how to pronounce что i cant do cht easily and it sounds forced.
-Difference between щ and ш sounds
-how to pronounce ть. I have heard tsy, tsye, and ty from different places
-Sound that й makes. Is it e (long, just condensed) or oi
-How do you pronounce и
-What does внмание mean? it doesn't translate on any of the sites i try.

Because of the mistake. The correct spelling is внимание and the stress in on the a. You can try dictionaries now (to translate it one needs the context). :)

ш is pronounced more backward - not with the tip of the tongue but with its middle ( or back-middle?) part, against the hard palate.
щ - with the tip of the tip of the tonue at alveolar ridge.

Different places of what? Palatalized consonants like in -ть- are pronounced with tip of the tongue against alveolar ridge and the part right after the tip pressed against alveolar ridge too.

In the beginning of the syllable ( like йод ) it is like 'y' in 'young' or like. In the terminal position, in the endings like -ой, it's like in 'boy'

thanks for your replies, they have helped a lot. Also, I don't need the и anymore :)
I think the alphabet i got my hands on first was not too good, I am glad i found this site as well as it's alphabet translation.
