Thread: How to put Russian into html code???

Hi.

I am wanting to put Russian text into a webpage am am getting some difficulties.

I know there are codes for russian letters but it must be easier than that?

When i save the .txt file as a html file with Russian chars in it, it says I have to save it in unicode format or else it doesnt show the russian. However, the css then doesn't work.

Any ideas?

You can save it in cp1251 codepage, it will display cyrillic but won't be able to show specific german/french characters (umlaut etc...).

It's better to use Unicode therefore.

Got it to work - just had to keep the css in the html page as opposed to importing it for some reason.
