Thread: Problems when writing accents

Hi MasterRussian,

In the last days I'm having problems when trying to put accents in my posts. They are always converted to things like "á".
I see monichka has also this problem when we write in Spanish. Is there something wrong in our pcs, or it is related to the forum features?

Got it, I finally installed win xp in my pc and now it's ok, it has a good support for writing in other languages (and in mine, we've got plenty of accents in Spanish and Catalan).

I have XP, too, but I don't see accents. What's wrong?

I don't know, I just write them with the ES keyboard version and it simply works, while with win ME, although they where written correctly, they were converted to those &aacute... symbols.

In fact, I've also installed the chinese keyboard 你好
