Forum crisis...or nearly!

Who didn't have a bit of shock when they saw that strange message...???
I just want to say that I'm so glad the forum is back up and running!
Out of interest,
1) tell how you found this forum...
2) What brought you here?
3) What do you like most?
4) Is there anything that you would like better on here? (Lampada - )

For me:
1) I was given the link to MasterRussian.com for online help in pronunciation and I found the forum from there.
2) To find answers to my grammar questions and aid for my learning.
3) The members...they're so friendly and helpful. I first joined another forum, but was like an outsider...no one would even translate "happy birthday" for me!
4) More Russians learning English. I do so love to help those who are trying to learn English...I just might get that TESOL certification yet!

1) I stumbled upon this forum while doing a google search for Russian language communities.

2) I lived in Russia in the early 1990's and recently reconnected with my friends, so I needed to brush up on my Russian again

3) I enjoy talking with people from so many different cultures and learning from them

4) I would like to see more westerners try to learn Russian. So many Russians learn English, and so few Americans know anything about Russia, Russian culture, or Russian language

Used it for language studies for a while, but lately my studies are on ice and frankly I just visit to check out the latest posts and because I like the forum... Free and open atmosphere and interesting people. This is the only place I ever discuss my political views, essentially.

I have become a bit of a Russophile actually. I think everything about Russia is interesting.
