Thread: Cursor disappears when writing a post

Ever since the new engine. Like right now, I don't have a cursor. Even if I click back on the period there, when I start typing, the letters appear at the end of my text. I can't edit. The situation is somewhat better if I use the Advance Editing feature. Fix? (Firefox 3.x). I can't even delete something, even though I can highlight it.

Try clicking on the leftmost button (the one that looks like A/A). This toggles you between WYSIWYG mode and the "plaintext with visible tags" mode.

I have exactly the same problems you describe if I'm in WYSIWYG mode -- no cursor, and new letters appear at the end of text. But in "visible tags" mode, everything is fine. (Unfortunately, you always start in WYSIWYG mode by default, which is rather annoying.)
