Hot damn, I wish I had this when I was learning Russian. And to think that all this time I didn't know the word for "shock-worker" and "concrete-mixer." Sigh, all the time wasted...
Что значит:
Shock-worker
Concrete-mixer
У меня эти книг! :D
Университет Мичигана пользовался их когда я был там. Они были для студентов первого года.
concrete-mixer – a device where concrete is made (by mixing its components)Quote:

Спасибо, Friendly. (Я был плохо студент.)
Аллан, плохоЙ  And then, usually it's not said "У меня этих книг" - it seams that there's a word missing. It's more correct to say "У меня много этих книг" or "у меня есть эти книги".
There's nothing wrong with "У меня этих книг..." if the intonation is appropriate. It can be interpreted (for example) as "У меня этих книг ... навалом" where "навалом" is omited.Quote:

But he was the first who wrote that, he could simply know it himself. And he is not such a beginner. :)Quote:

Well, then 'you should learn Russian'. :) But seriously, I don't think irony has ever been a strong point with Americans.
I specially liked "Иван Иванович и Борис Борисович"
ochen' rad...
Интересно, что за препараты употреблял автор учебника, чтобы написать такую чушь... ятоже хочу
