Why does it say "the names of the actors are a soviet adaption" under the Star Wars poster(which is pretty humorously painted)?
I think - Ewan McGregor writes like "Эйван Макгрегор", а не "Еван" as that poster read. May be athours of the article decided "Еван" is the same as "Иван" (Russian name). "Soviet" - because that poster uses Ukrainian language, often all the countries of exUSSR called as "soviet".Quote:

The ex-USSR countries are often called ex-Soviet, but not Soviet. And I still didn't quite understand. Is the movie about Gagarin or Star wars? Why is there "Ewan Macgregor" on there if it's about Gagarin?
This poster was, I guess, on a cinema poster-desk (or how to call it?) - and it announced "Star Wars - first threat" movie. But painter was stupid or lazy - may be he took Gagarin's poster ready (or he made a copy of it's original) and wrote "Star Wars" on it - I guess, painter never heard about Star Wars series and never seen it in his life. So easest way - to take something, what has context of space-and-rocket and to make a sign of "Star Wars".Quote:

and the guy's not much better - look at his ear!
Most likely, the writer wasn't sure if it was Russian or Ukranian :)Quote:
