Part 1.
Explanatory note.
I am counterspy of foreign intelligence service John Kaif. I was born on the instructions of CIA. I perfectly master 14 languages, telepathy, yoga, karate, unarmed self-defence, wrestling of nanaisky boys, judo (comment: "ju-do" this is in Russian "ju-before") and ju-posle (comment: "ju-posle" this is in Russian "ju-after")... I can fire from any buttons it is from all four their holes at once. By means of effort of my will I can call earthquake, tsunami, taxi.
I was executed by shooting 16 times, I was drowned in Atlantic Ocean 32 times. I stealed 11 presidents, teared to pieces 47 frontier patrol dogs, cuckolded 33 shahs with their harems.

Due to the fact that my documents were perfectly drawn up I really was quickly enrolled. And first my loss for that moment was only self-firing automatic buttons which were torn off in a tram in the first day (comment: because of throng in a tram).
But further it was begun something not clear.
Within the first week I as young specialist was not being charged any work. Then I on the sly started to ask employees what they projected. But they only shrugged their shoulders and asked to repeat: "What for you need that? Are you a spy?".
That guarded me. And then not to arose superfluous suspicion I decided to take advantage of telepathy and intercept ideas of the chief engineer. But all the day long he solved a crossword puzzle and painfully thought: "what is the bird whose name consists of 4 letters and which lives in Southern Bavaria, does not lay eggs, but hatchs from them". And he thought so tensely, that the session was completed with overstrain of my brain telepathic center and I for ever lost ability to telepathy. Though I precisely knew, that this bird was a cock!
Despairingly I began to walk in the rooms: wanted to count employees, but that turned out useless because all other employees went in rooms too, and in the evening I had counted them up to eighty thousand.
In this moment I bumped into the chief of my department who suddenly said:
- That will loaf about in corridors! It is time to be engaged in business! Tomorrow you will go on a potato!
I asked him: "What means: "you will go on a potato"?".
He looked at me in very astonishment and asked to repeat:
- Are you a silly or having arrived from America?
I got such fright, that I right away said:
- I am a silly!
I urgently contacted my chief who calmed me. He explained, that "to go on a potato" in the USSR meant a symbol of agricultural works during which collective farmers helped workers of brainwork to gather in a harvest.
As studying in secret service school I never went "on a potato", I was very much afraid, that my inability to treat with it would arouse suspicion against a background of those who had been trained in this many years in various higher educational institutions. Therefore I very much tried, worked without "smoke breaks", because that in the first day I was beaten by my colleagues on a field. There were fifteen persons of them. I wanted to apply against them seven grips of "moashi" and eight holds of "joka-weights", but not in time... Because as soon as I rised in the fighting stance, from behind unknown grip was applied to me, which one of the attacking named "a spring of a tractor "Belarus"". Since then I began to shake my head and for ever forgot Morse code.
Upon termination of agricultural works I again could not start performance of the mission because right after this moment I was sent to construction of institute sponsored "incompleteness" (unfinished building) where I was working during two with superfluous monthes as second acting of the third pupil of the fourth master to stacking sixth grade bricks with "the Quality symbol".
With improbable effort of will I took myself in hands and even tried not wasting time to find out a secret of a new cement mixer with program management and the most complicated switching punched card. I asked the master-serviceman about the order of its work, and he replied to me: (comment: sorry, in this paragraph it is untranslatable for me at least :)), all words are russian sleng)
- Listen here! Put a pothole from the direction of a flourish and two times pull by the pimpochka. Written down by me after master the operating procedure of the cement mixer had been immediately transferred by me to the center. During eight weeks the most experienced cryptographers struggled with it, but they could not solve, what meant the scientific term "ersh tvoju med"!
I did not have time to find out it too because directly from the construction I was sent to course of English language from which I was flunked over poor progress because the teacher did not understand my pure English pronunciation. Once she had asked me, where I was trained in English language. I answered honestly: in English special school. She replied, that she, it turned out, always gave no credence to English special schools (comment: in USSR “English special school” was school with deep study of English) and that it is necessary totally not like I did to pronounce a sound "the" according to the last instruction of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions. For other three months of the period of office I visited vegetable storehouse five times (comment: storehouses need people to sort out vegetables and to look for carrion vegetables), I took part in "a people's bodyguard" four times where at first we tried to catch hooligans and then when we had caught them, they started to beat us (comment: "a voluntary people's patrols" was voluntary organization which did public support for public order). For same time I became under compulsion a member of volunteer society of barefoot run on a snow under the name "Following in Suvorov's footsteps!", and "The Fall society of acorn gathering for help to starving pigs", and also took part in 18 amateur concerts as right extreme of scansion group where I strained my voice during words: " "Spartak" is the champion, "Canadian professionals" is a stable!" (comment: "Spartak" is a soviet sport club. Originally "a stable" is slang name of other soviet sport club - CSKA).
With such quantity of public work I started to suffer from intolerable headaches, but doctor didn't write out the sick-list for me. As having auscultated my thorax, my stomach and my head, he diagnosed: "a flat-foot"! and put on me orthopedic boots with which I could not go even with crutches.
I tried to commit suicide and lay on rails nearby to the Yaroslavl railway station (comment: this is in center of Moscow). But the train from Vladivostok was arriving 18 hours late and I had so frozen, that I was compelled to go to an grocer's shop to be warmed using the seven roubles which remained on hand from my last salary after payment of all membership dues.
There, having drunk, I judged soberly. As I had lost all means of subsistence, had not executed any item of the mission, had forgotten all knowledge received in secret service school , I still had only one way out. That was to surrender!
Having drunk a little more for bravery I approached on a crossroads to the first comer militiaman and I said to him that I was a foreign resident (comment: here "foreign resident" means in Russian "fixed-post spy"). He answered to that:
- If you are resident we now send you in a residence!
and sent me in this sobering-up station where I am located now and writing this explanatory note. And the main thing, I ask to take into account earnestly, that I am foreign fixed-post spy, want to surrender voluntary, therefore I should be forwarded urgently in a corresponding institution... "
Part 2. The resolution of sobering-up station director on the explanatory note.
The citizen naming himself "foreign resident" really got to us to wrong address and was forwarded by us to a corresponding institution. Where now he stays in full conformity in one room with Napoleon, Alexander the Great and astronaut from Alpha - Centaurus, who has arrived to us on a UFO to buy a film with records of Bjul-Bjul-ogly’s songs (comment: Bjul-Bjul-ogly a popular soviet singer. Now he is Minister of culture in Azerbaijan).
Part 3.
The order.
Tender officially thanks to all skilful played roles of scientific employees, collective farmers, builders, the doctor-orthopedist, the teacher of English language for creation of intolerable operating conditions for the most dangerous spy!!!
Reward machinist of the fast train "Vladivostok-Moscow" with a nominal sand-glass, and advance in a rank to the senior lieutenant so persuasively played a role of "a spring of a tractor "Belarus"".
The mission is executed! Kajf is caught! If we continue to work in this way further, we shall exhaust all of them, comrades!

ЗАДАНИЕ ВЫПОЛНЕНО! (Детективная история в трех частях)

1. Объяснительная записка.
"Я агент иностранной разведки - Джон Кайф. Родился по заданию ЦРУ. В совершенстве владею четырнадцатью языками, телепатией, йогой, каратэ, самбо, борьбой нанайских мальчиков, дзю-до и дзю-после... Умею соблазнять женщин на расстоянии. Фотографирую левым глазом, в правом проявляю микропленки. Плевками сбиваю вертолеты и тушу пожары. Стреляю из любой пуговицы, причем из всех четырех дырок сразу. Усилием воли могу вызывать землетрясения, цунами и такси.
Меня 16 раз расстреливали, 32 раза топили в Атлантическом океане. Я выкрал 11 президентов. 47 пограничных собак загрыз насмерть. Тридцати трем шахам с их гаремами наставил рога.
Но вот год назад я получил свое главное и, к сожалению, последнее задание!
Незаметно проникнуть на территорию СССР, пересесть на трамвай и, устроившись под видом молодого специалиста, выведать, сколько человек работает и что они выпускают в научно-исследовательском институте НИИВТОРСЫРЧЕРМЕТБРЕДБРАКСНАБСТЫДСБЫТЗАГРАНПОСТАВКА
Благодаря отлично оформленным документам я действительно быстро устроился на работу. И первой моей потерей пока были только самострельные пуговицы, которые мне в первый же день оторвали в трамвае.
А вот дальше началось нечто непонятное.
Первую неделю мне, как молодому специалисту, не поручали никакой работы. Тогда я сам потихоньку начал расспрашивать служащих о том, что они проектируют. Но они лишь пожимали плечами и переспрашивали: “Тебе-то зачем? Шпион, что ли?".
Это меня насторожило. И тогда, чтобы не вызвать лишних подозрений, я решил воспользоваться телепатией и перехватить мысли главного инженера. Но он весь день разгадывал кроссворд и мучительно думал, что это за птица из пяти букв, которая живет в Южной Баварии, яиц не несет, но из них выводится. Причем думал он так напряженно, что сеанс закончился перенапряжением моего мозгового телепатического центра и я навсегда потерял способность к телепатии. Хотя точно знал, что эта птица - петух!
От отчаяния я стал ходить по комнатам: хотел посчитать служащих, но это оказалось бесполезным, потому что все остальные служащие тоже ходили по комнатам и к вечеру я их насчитал до восьмидесяти тысяч.
Тут я был встречен начальником своего отдела, который вдруг сказал:
— Хватит без толку шляться по коридорам! Пора заниматься делом! Завтра поедешь на картошку!
Я спросил его, что это значит: "Поедешь на картошку?". Он на меня очень удивленно посмотрел и переспросил:
- Ты придурок или из Америки приехал?
Я так перепугался, что сразу сказал:
- Я - придурок!
И срочно связался с шефом, который меня успокоил. Объяснил, что "поехать на картошку" в СССР означает условное обозначение сельскохозяйственных работ, во время которых колхозники помогают работникам умственного труда собирать урожай.
Поскольку участь в разведшколе, я ни разу "на картошку" не ездил, я очень боялся, что мое неумение обращаться с ней вызовет подозрение на фоне тех, кто обучался этому много лет в различных высших учебных заведениях. Поэтому я очень старался, работал без перекуров, за что в первый же день был избит коллегами по полю. Их было пятнадцать человек. Я хотел применить против них семь приемов "моаши" и восемь "йока-гири", но не успел... Потому что как только я встал в боевую стойку, ко мне тут же был применен сзади неизвестный прием, который один из нападающих назвал "рессора трактора "Беларусь". С тех пор я стал трясти головой и навсегда позабыл морзянку.
По окончании сельскохозяйственных работ я снова не смог приступить к выполнению задания, потому что меня тут же послали на строительство институтской подшефной недостройки, где я проработал два с лишним месяца вторым исполняющим обязанности третьего ученика четвертого мастера по укладке кирпичей шестого сорта со Знаком качества.
Невероятным усилием воли я взял себя в руки и даже попытался, не тратя времени зря, выяснить секрет новой бетономешалки с программным управлением и сложнейшей коммутационной перфокартой. Я спросил мастера-наладчика о порядке ее работы, на что он мне ответил:
- Слухай сюды! Положь колдобину со стороны загогулины и два раза дергани за пимпочку. Опосля чего долбани плюхалкой по кувыкалке и, кады чвакнет, отскочь дальшее, прикинься ветошью и не отсвечивай. Потому как она в это время шмяк, тудыть, сюдыть, йоксель-моксель, ерш твою медь... Пш-ш-ш! И ждешь, пока остынет. Остыли, подымаесся, вздыхаешь... Осторожненько вздыхаешь, про себя. шобы эта быдла не рванула! И бегишь за угол за поллитрой. Потому как пронесло!
Записанный мною за мастером порядок работы бетономешалки был немедленно передан мною в центр. Восемь недель опытнейшие шифровальщики бились над ним, но так и не смогли разгадать, что означает научный термин "ерш твою медь"!
Я тоже не успел этого выяснить, потому что прямо со стройки меня послали на курсы английского языка, с которых я был отчислен за неуспеваемость, потому что преподаватель не понимала моего чистого английского произношения. Однажды она меня спросила, где я обучался английскому языку. Я ответил честно: в английской спецшколе. Она на это ответила, что она, оказывается, всегда не доверяла английским спецшколам и что совсем не так, как я, надо произносить звук "the" согласно последней инструкции ВЦСПС. За остальные три месяца пребывания на работе я пять раз посещал овощную базу, четыре раза - народную дружину, где сначала мы хулиганов ловили, а как мы их поймали, они нас бить начали. За это же время я стал в принудительном порядке членом добровольного общества бега босиком по снегу под названием "Стопами Суворова!", "Осеннего общества сбора желудей в помощь голодающим свиньям", а также принял участие в 18 самодеятельных концертах в качестве правого крайнего группы скандирования, где и сорвал себе голос на словах: "Спартак" - чемпион, "Канадиес профи" - конюшня!"
От такого количества общественной работы у меня начались невыносимые головные боли, но больничный врач мне не выписал, так как, прослушав мою грудную клетку, живот и голову, установил диагноз: "Плоскостопие"! И надел на меня ортопедические сапоги, в которых я не могу ходить даже с костылями.
Я пытался покончить жизнь самоубийством. И лег на рельсы неподалеку от Ярославского вокзала. Но поезд из Владивостока опаздывал на 18 часов, и я так замерз, что вынужден был пойти в гастроном, чтобы согреться на семь рублей, оставшихся у меня от последней зарплаты после уплаты всех членских взносов.
Там, выпив, я рассудил трезво. Поскольку я потерял все средства к существованию, не выполнил ни одного пункта задания, позабыл все знания, полученные мною в разведшколе, у меня оставался только один выход - сдаться!
Выпив для храбрости еще немного, я подошел на перекрестке к первому попавшемуся милиционеру и сказал ему, что я иностранный резидент. На что он мне ответил:
- Раз ты резидент, то мы тебя сейчас и отправим в резиденцию!
И отправил меня в вытрезвитель, где я теперь и нахожусь. И пишу эту объяснительную записку, а главное, прошу настоятельно учесть, что я иностранный резидент, хочу добровольно сдаться, поэтому меня надо срочно переправить в соответствующее заведение ..."
2. Резолюция директора вытрезвителя на объяснительной записке:
"Гражданин, называющий себя иностранным резидентом, действительно попал к нам не по адресу. И был переправлен нами тут же в соответствующее заведение, где теперь и пребывает в полном соответствии в одном номере с Наполеоном, Александром Македонским и австронавтом с Альфа-Центавра, который прилетел к нам на летающей тарелке, чтобы купить пленки с записями песен Бюль-Бюль-оглы".
3. Приказ:
"Всем, умело сыгравшим роли научных сотрудников, колхозников, строителей, врача-ортопеда, учителя английского языка. за создание невыносимых условий работы и жизни опаснейшему разведчику объявить благодарность!!!
Наградить машиниста скорого поезда "Владивосток—Москва" именными песочными часами, а также повысить в звании старшего лейтенанта, так убедительно сыгравшего роль рессоры трактора "Беларусь".
Задание выполнено! Кайф пойман! Если и дальше будем так работать, мы их всех изведем, товарищи!"
