    Dilbert

I was watching Dilbert a couple nights ago and I couldn’t post this cuz the site was down. So here is what I remember from memory.

Some tree-loving dude is suing the corporation (the place Dilbert works at) for killing trees or something. So anyways all the people are having a meeting and they decide to have an off-site meeting at Dilbert's house. Only because the boss didn't want it at his house and Dilbert's house was the closest to his. At the end Dilbert is mad and they need to decide on a game to play at the off-site meeting.
(It’s not exact but you'll get it)

Boss- we need a game to play.
Dilbert- *bangs head on the table* How about Russian roulette?
Boss- now now Dilbert it has to be an American game.

I don't know if that's funny because the guy is stupid, or because there's no evidence to suggest Russian Roullette even originated in Russia.

You never seen Dilbert before? It's a cartoon on Comedy Central. Well the boss (his name escapes me at the moment ) IS really stupid. Dilbert wasn't very happy about the meeting at his house so that is why he suggested Russian roulette. He said it in a sort of sarcastic way. The boss probably thought it was some sort of Russian origin sport or something.

I've seen the comic strip. It wasn't really that funny. A lot of them are like:

Dilbert: Man, I really hate these T-R372 forms.
    Other guy: Yeah, they stink.
Dilbert: And then you have to file them in the 602 department.
Other guy: Tell me about it. I accidentally sent them to 603 once.

And that will be like the entire strip and the author is over there explaining to his boss like

Author: No, you see, it IS funny, because 603 is payroll. I mean, the very concept that someone would forward a T-R372 to payroll is ludicrous.
    Editor: ...

At least that is what I imagine his life must be like.

I believe the boss character is simply referred to as "Pointy-haired Boss" and has no real name.
Excuse me, Professor from the University of Gambling, do casinos have an effect on crime? No? Why, thank you very much.

I can't really say that I like Dilbert, but still I thought the roulette gag was funny.
