    А, так это про Фоменко? Ну, так то, что Россия воевала с древним Римом -- это еще далеко не самая сильная из его теорий...

    Хотя, конечно, плеваться в адрес Фоменко укро-националам -- это, как-то, не очень им уместно. Как говорится, чья бы корова мычала...

    With the same success they could insist that зимою isn't зимой!

    I forgot the name of the medieval theologists which discussed such themes as how many devils can be placed on the edge of the needle. I guess they were scholasts and the number was fourty devils.

    Such people as Fomenko are interesting until the moment they start to pretend that they can be called a real historians or scientists, then they become look like a fools!

    До сего момента, "труды" Фоменко я воспринимал как забавный курьёз, что-то вроде Жириновского в политике, но оказывается теперь, что существует некий "социальный заказ" на подобное творчество, да и вообще за всем этим видятся происки "кровавой гэбни".

    Хочется перефразировать высказывание одного из героев фильма "Игрушка" с Пьером Ришаром:
    Кто чудовище - тот что пишет подобные книги или те, кто относится к ним всерьёз?

    I've heard that even from Arabs, not to mention Georgians, Ukrainians and most surprisingly Jews, also the latter insisted that some of them at least were red-haired.
