There are two reasons why this is wrong.

1. It is lyublyu

2. This is just a translit. An english speaker will say L-yoo-bl-yoo, which is not how the word is pronounced.

Oh yes. I let the letter out mistakingly. So, what I meant is acceptable.

Yep, when it comes to people use the нравиться verb. If you like playing soccer you любишь играть в футбол

You can say "мне нравится играть в футбол" as well and it sounds natural but you're right "я люблю играть в футбол" is more common.

Perhaps someone could clear this up in the audio lounge? Or the topic moved?

I once heard somebody say it like this:

я люблю вac

Or you can say "yellow blue bus".

It's not correct at all, but it is strangely close.

"Yellow blue vase" is even better

As long as you pronouce vase like "Vaz". But its more commonly pronounced "Vays" (Rhymes with base).
